ACA parents are eligible to apply to two Arizona scholarship funds for their children

1. ASF: Arizona Scholarship Fund

The mission of Arizona Scholarship Fund is to financially assist parents throughout Arizona in meeting the academic, social, and spiritual needs of their children by providing scholarships that will allow their children to attend the non-governmental school of the parents' choosing.

2. ASCT: Arizona school Choice Trust

The mission of the Arizona School Choice Trust (ASCT) is to provide hope and opportunity to low-income families by awarding tuition scholarships to attend private elementary and secondary schools (K-12).

The following Question was asked to Dr. Salah Soltan (Ph.D. in Figh, President of Islamic American University, Professor at Dar Ul-Ulume, Cairo University)

Q: "Can ZAKAT money be paid to establish an Islamic School in America?"

Dr. Soltan: "It is mubah (permissible) to give Zakat for Islamic Education to protect our children from fitna (trail). It is our duty to establish in every city an Islamic School i.e. Islamic Education. At the conference of Ulmema in Makkah Mukaramah they said it is permissible to give some of Zakat to Islamic Schools. I asked many scholars at the Europe Figh Council and they agree as well"
